GCCHEA, a Christian homeschool group, is one of the largest homeschool groups in the NW FL area, usually with 150+ member families. We are a very active group, and usually host 4-5 big events per year, put on by the Steering Committee, as well as various other local group activities throughout the year. The Moms’ Group meets in Gainesville on the second Thursday of each month throughout the school year. Our main focus is to encourage moms in ways to build Christ-like character in our hearts and homes while teaching our children. Doors open at 6:00 for fellowship, free library and homeschool book swap. Meetings start at 7:00, and include topics such as organization, prioritizing, teaching tips, and more.
