Inclusive Christian homeschooling families supporting one another by holding special activities monthly, mostly at Fountain of Life Christian Fellowship in Fairmont. Parent-led co-op learning classes are held weekly for children of all ages. Membership is yearly for a small fee. Some activities include Field Trips, Speak Up!, Thanksgiving Dinner and Art Show, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Testing Center, Homeschool Information Night, parent workshops and support, Mom’s night out, Couples Night Out. The West Virginia Home Educators Association was founded in 1986 to assist homeschooling families. WVHEA is open to everyone, regardless of religion, personal beliefs, or educational philosophy.
